Galaxy Quest

Sci-fi spoof of Star Trek with a storyline similer to that of The Three Amigos, Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver play as a actors to a popular Tv sci-fi series called Galaxy Quest untill one day, aliens from another planet have recieved tv broadcasting signals and they believe everything that happens in it, they have been watching the series and observing it for quiet some time, learning every part of the Galaxy Quest space craft and studied the crew of what they eat and how they control the entire vessel, the aliens believe that Tim Allen will help them fight against their enemies so they build an entire replica of the ship in the series and try persuade Tim Allen to help them.

Tim Allen and the rest of his crew believe the entire idea is just abig carreer move untill they stat noticing the scenario is real, sounds famillier, yes it does, if you have seen The Three Amigos. Doesn't matter, the film is very entertaining and it is very funny, it intends to make fun of Star Trek by making Tim's character be like Captain James.T.Kirk, Weaver does look funny in blond and the crew of the tv series are real clumsy especially when one them says "Hey Guys(worringly) there seem to be a red thingy going closer to the blue thingy and I think we are the blue thingy!". The film is certainly likeable and funny and it is worth watching it.
