The Matrix

The Matrix is set in the future, it is a world created and controlled by machines for the human beings who are trapped in a world where they live through their entire life untill death. The story is based on a hacker named Neo(Keanu Reeves), he makes contact to the real world by a group lead by Morpheus(Laurence Fishbourne) who believes Neo is the one. Morpheus believed an ancient prophecy that the chosen one or the one would free the human beings from The Matrix. When they find Neo, he is freed and sees the truth, the world he thought he lived in is a hoax created by machines. Neo is given the task to show his ability to fight against the machines and save mankind.

The creators, the Wachowski Brothers succeeded in making one the most impressive sci-films ever, with stunning special effects and surprisengly good acting from Reeves. In my opinion this film is very entertaining and definetly unmissable. We will be seeing Matrix 2 and 3 hopefully in a few years time.
