1999 summer
blockbuster has been described as one the most scariest
movies ever. This film can be scary at times. But it isn't
the scariest film of all time. Sixth Sense is about a boy
who's name is Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment) who has the
ability to see and talk to dead people, not zombies but
just ghosts. Dr Malcom Crowe (Bruce Willis), a child
psychologist, had an unsuccessfull patient with the same
problem who had ended up shooting himself dead and
injuring Dr Crowe, so he tries to redeem himself by
helping Cole by doing everything he can. The film has an
eery atmosphere and can contain some disturbing images of
dead ghosts with gunshot wounds in the head, people
hanged and a woman with her wrists slit.
The only problem with the film is,
it takes an hour untill you actually see ghosts and there
are not enough ghosts in it to make it very scary.
Unpredictable ending can cause more confusion and
questions, which is why it is easier to understand when
you see it twice. Good film. well worth watching, good
preformances from Bruce Willis but undoubtly a brilliant
preformance from Haley Joel Osment, (who I belived should
have been young Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode One
instead of that little stuckup nosed brat who we all hate
so much, damn you George Lucas).
