Based on the poplular comic books created by Marvil Comics, X-Men is about mutants who have evolved beyond than most humans and inherited special powers and abilities, with the increase of the mutant population humans have begun to fear for their safety?

The film opens in a nazi german consentration camp in Poland in 1944, we see a boy with his parents and hundreds of other people being sent somewhere else. The boy get seperated from the his parents and as the gates closes, the boy starts to cry and trys to run towards his group but nazi soldiers hold him back, the boy then uses a special power and bends the iron gates with a form of a powerfull magnetic force and dragging himself and nazi soldiers who are holding on to him towards the gate untill one of them knocks the boy unconscious. In the not so far distant future (2000) we see that that boy becomes a leader of the brotherhood of mutants who wants humanity to respect all mutants by using threats and physical violence but his old friend (who is also a mutant and has the ability to control people) Profesor Xavior wants a peacefull method of showing humans, racial equality, so he forms the X-Men. The X-Men are a group who protect humans and mutants from evil mutants who also want to take over the world. ENOUGH OF THE WANTING!

The film is definetly entertaining and worth watching, good fight sequances and good villians, my favourite villian is that totally blue naked chic, Mystique, who has the ability to form herself into any human individual. No male can certainly keep their eyes off her because she's super strong, super sexy and super naked. I loved this film from start to finish and its the best conversion from any other comics such as Batman, Spawn, and er The Phantom. All the X-Men characters are there like Rogue, Wolverine, Cyclops, Jean, Storm and Prof Xavier except for one character, the mutant who could throw explosive cards. If you want to find out more try out www.xmenthemovie.com plenty of information there but it will take 5 minutes to load. Bloody brilliant film.

Rating:

P.S.: My sister also fell in love with this movie and she can't stop talking about it especially her favourite character Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman.
