The Wee Binnian Mountain Meitheal met last
Sunday and the weather was absolutely fabulous. Great view looking down on
Carlingford. There were 9 volunteers who did terrific work on draining
tracks. We were near the TV mast in the Cooley’s where the tracks are completely
water logged. We dug small trenches on the downhill side of the track so that
water will drain off the track thereby drying it out so it becomes hard. The
day ended with lovely hot soup kindly provided by Seamus Murphy in his house.
