Each unit in the housing scheme provides a living area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Each unit has a call care system wired directly to the warden's flat at Ardfallen House where the warden is notified of any emergencies. Heating is from a central boiler house, laundry facilities are provided in 2 separate laundries and there is a guest room to accommodate relatives and friends travelling from a distance.

The central courtyard area in Ardfallen Grove was recently refurbished, repaved and provided with garden furniture. This work was done as a result of a bequest received from the estate of Nesta Whiteside. Nesta was for many years a missionary with the Methodist Church overseas. In her retirement she lived in Co. Antrim and her wish was that when she died the proceeds of the sale of her house should be used to make life more comfortable for elderly people. Nesta was related to the Peters family who have been part of the Methodist community in Cork. |
