Vision & Mission Statement |
In 2004 the Leaders of Kinsale Methodist Church adopted
the following Mission Statement
"Forward with Christ through Worship and Witness"
To put the theory into practise the Leaders undertook to do the following:
• encourage the congregation to use the Angelus Bell
(12noon and 6pm) as a Call to Prayer for Kinsale Society & its worship
• circulate a Prayer Letter around the Irish Connexion
and offer it to visitors to Sunday Services
• replace the pews with chairs to give a more flexible
workspace
• arrange a new heating system in the church
This Faith in God was realised at an inspiring Service of Rededication held in
December 2004 when, in the presence of a large congregation of civic, local and
church representatives, the 'new look' church was rededicated to God and for the
use of His Church in the Mission to Lead Forward with Christ through Worship and
Witness.
