Officially opened on 10th March 2000, La Belle Fleur, situtated on Church Street, Drumshanbo is proving very popular
with the locals as it has filled a niche in the market that had been missing in the town. A joint venture by sisters Carmel and Helena O’Rourke, La Belle Fleur supplies flowers for all occasions and offers a wide range of products and services to its customers. Both Carmel and Helena have trained extensively and worked hard in gaining knowledge and experience of the business over the past few years, always with a view to someday opening their own shop. Carmel and Helena have taken various courses in both Sligo and Dublin and have travelled the length and breadth of the country to attend flower exhibitions and shows to gain even more experience. Helena gained invaluable experience when she worked in Ardcarne Garden Centre in Boyle where she developed a greater interest in flowers and horticulture in general. As stated, La Belle Fleur has flowers for all occasions including fresh, dried and silk flowers, funeral tributes and wreaths and household plants. They also offer a professional wedding service and flowers for parties and other celebrations. A delivery service is also available. The two ladies both feel fortunate that they have been able to open a business so close to their home place, especially in Drumshanbo which, in their opinion, is a town of great potential and, like many other Leitrim towns, is an undiscovered jewel. Carmel and Helena both look forward to giving the best possible service to their customers in the future. |
