Wicklow port is situated south of Dublin on Irelands East Coast.

On November 12th 1915 the Greek ship ' TRIFJLIA ' went aground near Kiloughter Railway Station, north of Wicklow harbour. The vessel subsequently broke up . In August 1985 Wicklow Sub Aqua club raised the anchors from the seabed and brought them ashore. Wicklow Urban Council then mounted them on a plinth overlooking the harbour. In 1986 the Anchors were handed over to the people of Wicklow and dedicated to all sailors lost at sea from Wicklow. Guest of honor at the ceremony was the Greek Ambassador who unveiled a plaque . Part of the ship is still visible today at low tide at Kiloughter.
