Cruelty Case

On this page we tell the story of just a couple of cruelty cases the sanctuary have successfully dealt with.

Ber

Ber a beautiful St. Bernard now named Monty, was collected by our officer TJ Myron, following a report by a concerned member of the public. Ber was brought straight to a Vet in Wicklow where he was put on a course of antibiotics and fed 3 times daily. Ber was homed in November 2007 and is a regular attraction on Sundays at the sanctuary. Monty now features on our Christmas card.

Jude

Jude is a 3 year old Yorkshire terrier cross, named after St. Jude of hopeless causes, because the vets were unsure if she would survive. Jude had no coat and very bad mange were Jude's main problem. After many months of care Jude is now a healthy interactive dog and well settled in her new home. To the left is a photo of Jude as she is today.
