Lola

Hi to all my buddies at Sharpeshill and especially to TJ, who loved me so well while I was there. This is me in my new home. They keep trying to get pictures of me with my new family, but I move so fast, they're all blurry, so I gave in and eventually posed for one or two.

I have a new buddy called Finn. He was a bit grumpy with me for a while when I got here, but he finally gave in to my charms, and now we have great fun chasing each other around the house and garden and generally wreaking havoc.

Every now and then I have a go at being top dog, but he's not having any of it, so I'm happy to let him think he's the boss until I'm here a bit longer. I have another new friend called Aisling, who is the baby in the house. She's 15 months old and my very best friend.  I am very gentle and kind to her and she loves me lots and gives me lots of hugs and kisses, and plenty of snacks from her high chair. I go and wake her every morning and stand at her cot on my hind legs.  It makes her laugh lots, she's funny like that.

I went for my first walk off the lead the other day in the rain. It was great and I saw two rabbits and went running after them but when my Dad called me I came back. My new buddy Finn can run like the wind - but once I'm in training a while I think I'll be able to keep up and maybe even overtake him! He won't know what's hit him.
I have a new name which the baby can nearly say. It is Lola.& I answer to it every time and like it a lot. I'm happy here and there's great peace and quiet once the child goes to bed. I get lovely food and chews and lots of walks and think it's quite a cushy number!& My new Mum loves lying on the sofa with me in the evenings and we have great cuddles. Lots of love and licks, Lola.

Bommer

Hi, sending you a picture of Bommer, (we call him Bo) and to update you on how he is doing.  Well, he is settling in very well, still a bit nervous with strangers.  We now know why you called him Bommer; he goes like a bomb so much we had to get him a harness as he was choking himself on the lead!
He likes nothing better than to lie on settee between the two of us and watch TV.  He still does not like getting into car but once in he is very good.  He loves being petted, made a fuss of and is the sweetest natured little dog.  The children love him.  Thank you for letting us have him.  He has a very good home.
