Vets Tips

If pet owners were to have their dogs and cats neutered and spayed, they would immediately reduce the number of unwanted dogs and cats and lessen their suffering and plight of being abandoned, abused, starved or ending up in County Dog Pounds where most are destroyed.

Responsible Pet Ownership

Identify your pet either by having it micro-chipped by the vet or by making sure it's collar bears an identification disc at all times (for dogs it's the law to have collar & ID).

Look After Your Pet Checklist:

  •   Food
  •   Water
  •   Shelter (make sure it's clean)
  •   Exercise
  •   Vaccination
  •   De-Flea
  •   Worming
  •   Vet-Care
  •   Netuer/Spay
  •   Be kind!

It is the Law that dogs must be licensed (at your local post office)

It is very dangerous to leave your pet in a car in hot weather, even for a short period and with your windows ajar. Your pet could die.

Care of other animals such as Birds, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs:

Always make sure you give fresh food and water every day suitable to the species.

Keep cages/runs clean and be sure that the animal/bird has sufficient space - as much space as possible.

And give them all lots of TLC!
