Subject: February 1st 2002 petition to the European Parliament regarding Celtic Waste plans for Kilconnell super dump

Brendan,

I have now placed the text of your February 1st 2002 petition regarding the Celtic Waste Superdump to the European Parliament at the following address:
http://homepage.eircom.net/~kellybrendan/petition1/feb-1-2002.htm

Much to my annoyance, I have started to receive more anonymous e-mail messages (which APPEAR to come from the Police) AGAIN.

I thought I had fully dealt with this problem last month: but, this does not seem to be the case.

As far as I'm concerned, there is NO GOOD REASON WHATSOEVER why the Police Press Office should be objecting to my informing them about the very serious difficulties we are having here in the New Inn area: ESPECIALLY, when there are leading front page headline reports in last week's edition of the Connacht Tribune Newspaper (dated February 1st 2002) of local residents here in New Inn being threatened with physical violence because they have objected to the Celtic Waste Superdump planned for Kilconnell.

I don't know what you (or other people reading this) will feel about the anonymous "UNSUBSCRIBE PLEASE" message (which APPEARS to come from the Police Press Office) at the www page immediately address below.  I can tell you though that I find it EXTREMELY WORRYING, and it feels to me as though it is coming from some VERY SINISTER SOURCE

The anonymous "UNSUBSCRIBE PLEASE" message referred to above has now been reproduced at:
http://homepage.eircom.net/~kellybrendan/petition1/unsupscribe-please.htm

Regards,

Billy.
