Paulwash.JPG (26422 bytes) Paul Madden gets his priorities right on the way to the 1999 British treffen. Clean the bike before anything else.

Fionann.JPG (35157 bytes) Fiona Massey and Ann Wilson waiting patiently waiting for Paul to finish his cleaning duties.

Bluetrike.JPG (33312 bytes) Triumph.JPG (41831 bytes) Triumph2.JPG (41510 bytes) Some nice trikes. Take a closer look at the red one. You would be forgiven for thinking it was as wide as a car, because it is a car! The back end is actually from a Triumph Acclaim, trunk and all. More ammo for those that say Goldwings are just a car without all the wheels.

Castle.JPG (25363 bytes) Jedburgh Castle.

airbrush1.JPG (35836 bytes) airbrush2.JPG (38503 bytes) Stalls1.JPG (36080 bytes) Stalls2.JPG (42191 bytes) Some shots from inside the trade stalls. I could watch the custom paint guys working all day, it's amazing to see the amount of skill and patience required to do this job, not to mention a steady hand.

Aus1.JPG (32442 bytes) Czech.JPG (35766 bytes) White marble dash from Austria, and take a look at the red Czech 1500. Those exhausts are the real thing and make the engine almost inaudible. The red marble effect on the dash was done to perfection but unfortunately the close-up shot I took wasn't. I fluffed it. Ah well, maybe next year.

Twins.JPG (33817 bytes) Twins, or seeing double? These two SE models had identical extras, including matching trailers. Even the number plates were almost identical, only differing by one digit. Yes, I'm afraid I fluffed that shot too.

Blue1500.JPG (36765 bytes) This two-tone blue seems to be quite a rare colour on GL1500's. A pity really, because it's a real stunning colour combination to look at.
