The cordless drill has become very popular in the workshop, on building-sites and at home. Some are low powered and useful only for drilling small holes into light material, such as wood or plastic. They can also be used as power screwdrivers using phillips-head or posi-drive screws.
Higher powered cordless drills have hammer-action capacity for drilling into 'masonry'.
