Tools and MachineryThis section of the website is aimed at giving information on the three areas of hand tools, power tools and machines. Hand tools, power tools and machines are at the core of any workshop. Knowing how tools and machines work, aswell as knowing how to use them safely and properly, is important. (Some power tools and machines require special training. This kind of training is not part of a second-level education.) Practice in the use of tools, particularly hand tools, is at the heart of woodwork.
