At the time of Arthur's death, his wife, Mrs. Ruth Schwartz had an address in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She has remarried since the crash. His father is dead, and his mother, Isadore, was 84 years old at the time of this research. At the time of the crash his parents lived in Wilmington, North Carolina. His brother, Irving Schwartz, has been traced to an address in Georgetown, South Carolina. Arthur also has a sister living in Skokie, Illinois - Mrs. Ruth Ann Simon.
There was a suggestion made that there wer a number of medical nurses on board at the time of the crash. This is not so and it has been established that there were only the five crew on board the ill-fated aircraft when it crashed. Their families have all been traced.
