Shot down by the RAF and forced to land on Bonmahon Strand.

24th April, 1941 Fairey Battle TT 1 V1222 Nš 8 RAF 4th Bombing & Gunnery School Tramore Racecourse -1

Forced landing on Waterford Racecourse and was impounded by the Irish Air Corps becoming Nš 92 in their fleet of planes.

10th June, 1941 Hawker Hurricane IIB Z 2832 GZ-M RAF 32 Squadron Kilmacthomas -1

Shot down and forced to land in Kilmacthomas, was impounded by the Irish Air Corps and became Nš 94 in their fleet of planes.

23rd August, 1942 Junkers JU 88 D-1 1688 4U+KH Luftwaffe I/Afkl (F) 123, Long Range Reconnaissance Squadron Tramore -4

Shot down by a plane from 319 Squadron and crash landed at Toughare, Tramore.

31st October, 1942 Supermarine Spitfire BM 533 EB-M RAF 41 Squadron Oulart -1

Force landed at Oulart, Polish Pilot slightly injured.

17th February, 1943 Vickers Wellington III Z 1676 ZL-S RCAF 427 Squadron Ballybeg, Carrilkong -5

Aircraft destroyed by crew on landing. The crew were interned in the Curragh Camp and became the last 'combatant' aircrew to be so interned in the 'Irish Free State'.
