Castle Farm is a superb 18th century Georgian House overlooking Ballycotton Bay. The house is set on a 75 acre working dairy farm. It is an ideal location for a family holiday. The children can watch the milking of cows, or play in the large garden, while the house is only a five minute walk from the sandy beach.

The house has 5 spacious bedrooms all en suite with tea and coffee making facilities. Enjoy home baking in the large dining area and relax in the television lounge.

Castle Farm is located on the coast road between Garryvoe and Ballymacoda. Travelling from Youghal on the N25 follow the signposts for Ballymacoda village. From there follow the signs for Castle Farm.

Castle Farm is an ideal base for touring the region. The B&B is located in East Cork, an area which is steeped in history and culture. Youghal is a Historic Walled Port. Enjoy a guided walking tour and be taken back in time to Walter Raleigh's era. In Midleton visit the Old Midleton Distillery and be treated to a taste of the famous Irish whiskey. Visit Cobh with its imposing Cathedral. Relive the days of the Famine Ships, Liners and ill-fated Titanic at the Queenstown Story.

For those with an interest in craft, take the time to view the wonderful range of pottery available at the Stephen Pearce Pottery, Youghal Pottery and Jack O'Patsy Pottery. Visit the Ballymaloe Cookery School and Gardens for a unique experience.

Take the East Cork Trail and visit the 19 Bird-watching sites, some of international fame.

East Cork is a haven for the food connoisseur. The area's diverse range of excellent restaurants will ensure a new eating experience on each evening of your stay. The coastal location will mean that seafood is fresh and of the highest standard.
