Launched to a report of a body on the Slob Bank near to the old bridge. Gardai were reported on route via the slob Bank walk. On scene the crew could see a body just below the high water mark, but could not position the lifeboat closer than 100m. crewman Sean Slattery waded and rolled across heavy mud/silt to the casualty. It was then decided that recovery by the Coastguard cliff rescue unit was the best option. The Lifeboat stood by whilst the removal took place.WEATHER N f 4-5
