As well as being "Alpine Athletes" the Zimbabwe Ski Team realise their duty to the community. People or organisations less fortunate than ourselves can be assisted in their troubles.

Each Zimbabwe Ski Team training camp will be linked with a fund raising mission. We can guarantee that the money raised will NOT be touched by the Zimbabwe Government and WILL go directly to the designated people or organisation.

The 2002/2003 ski seasons charities are, the "Matopos Conservation Society" who are linked with the local inhabitants of the Matobo Hills, and the "Matebeleland Hockey Development Program" who are struggling desperately to keep sport alive for the children of Southern Zimbabwe.
