Clonmel Courthouse is another of those historical sites where many of the people sent to tazmania were last tried. Such notables that passed through these doors were Thomas Francis Meagher" Meagher of the Sword" William Smith O'Brien and many other local and national Revolutionaries. This has been recently restored to its current use of a Circuit and district Court.
