Here's a photo of all the pupils attending Collaiste La
Salle in 1957/8. The school fees at that time were really a very heavy
burden and very few could afford it. £15 per term and three terms per
year, the average wage in those days was about £5-7 per week so £45 a
year per pupil was a horrendous sum. Seniors are at the top ranking
down to juniors at the bottom, that covers 4 years of attendees.
