More from Drumboe Woods.

Dry and bright.

There's not much mistaking this Amethyst Deceiver - Laccaria amethystea.

A few heads of the Honeysuckle had ripe berries. There are clearly more to come.

A struggling Dandelion was host to another Melanostoma hoverfly and a similar-sized solitary bee.

This is the final state of the Scleroderma citrina that I've been following. The surface has split and the spores are now being dispersed by the wind.

And a wonderful bell-shaped fungus - possibly a Cortinarius. 3 cm across. Spore print under way.
