NEWS

For our members:

The Band Officers want to thank all Band members for their contributions to the Band in 2005, and for their performance on the cold 17th of March 2006. The band played extremely well despite the weather. Also well done on receiving an award for all your efforts on the day.

Parade Plans for 2006

The band is registered to take part in the International Marching Band competition in Mid Somer Norton, near Bath in England as our 2006 highlight trip. The dates for the trip will be from Friday July 7th until Monday July 10th.

For the rest of this year the band plans to perform and entertain the runners of the Annual Ladies Marathon, perform in Swords for the Swords Heritage Festival, and also the Dublin Bus charity funday and some other performances throughout the year.

The New Website

As you may or may not know this is the brand new band website. There are all new pictures and videos in their respective sections. If you have some time why not check out the band history and see how the band developed from just 12 members in 1988 to 150 in 2006. Or take a look at some of the band achievements over the years.

For our members we would like to let them know the My Home section is not yet available but will be very soon. We hope to have that section up and running within a couple of weeks
