Image are budget Treadmills not that well known in the Fitness and
Exercise Industry. They are made by Fitness giants Icon Fitness who
produce many of the other leading brands such as Nordic track, Proform,
Welso and Reebok.
The biggest disadvantage to purchasing an Image Treadmill is the very
poor warranty, which at 90 days for the more basic models is about the
worst you will find anywhere, although some suppliers offer a three
year warranty.
Why we are featuring Image is because we have come across some older
machines that are still going strong and despite those bad warranties
actually have proven to be very reliable indeed.
They offer some of the best equipment levels in their class with even
the more basic models offering things like iFIT compatability (which
allows you to run workouts from the internet, videos, or compact discs
for customized, goal-specific results), cushioned decked and heart rate
monitors.

We Like: At
under $1000, the Image 10.4QL Treadmill is seriously laden with goodies:
iFIT compatability, cushioned deck which at twenty inches in width is
very generous for a budget machine, and four preprogrammed workouts.
We Dislike: The build quality could be a little
better on this Image model, the motor only churns out 1.75 HP, and of
course there is that awful ninety day warranty.

10.2 Qi Treadmill With Adjustable Cushioned Deck
We Like: The main differences between the
Image 10.2 QI Treadmill and the slightly cheaper 10.4 are this has adjustable
cushioned deck, a magazine rack which allows hands-free reading while
working out and a water bottle holder. The Image 10.2 QI Treadmilll
also comes with a far superior warranty, 180 days on the frame and parts
and 1 year on the motor. For an extra $100 this is a far more complete
treadmill.
We Dislike: Again
it comes down to slightly light build quality and the motor still only
has an output of 1.75 HP

We Like: This
is Image’s top of the range machine. The Image 10.2 QI Treadmill
comes with all the equipment all gadgets you could possibly need. It
has a great selection of pre-programmed workout routines including 3
heart rate driven workouts. At the moment it comes with free shipping
and a chest strap.
We Dislike: Warranty
on the Image 10.2 QI Treadmill, while light years ahead of the other
two image models still falls short against the class best such as The
Smooth 5.0P which has 10 years on the motor.
