Nordic Track says "For those looking for the rigorous
construction and performance of NordicTrack’s commercial
fitness line, the 8600 treadmill is a good place to start.
It boasts commercial-grade features like an incredibly powerful
5.0 HP commercial-grade motor, Power Incline™ up to
a challenging 15% and a long, 60-inch treadbelt for long,
uninhibited strides. To help protect your joints from harmful
impact, the 8600 features DuraSoft Compound™ cushioning.
It combines a super-soft foam deck with impact isolators that
support the deck above the frame. Features CardioGrip™
pulse sensors to track and stay in your target heart-rate
zone. Compatible with additional iFIT.com workouts in addition
to 10 built-in programs".
What
We Like : The Nordic Track 8600 Treadmill
is a machine that we like mainly because of that whopping
big 5.0 motor, which is commercial grade so it should take
a good pounding for many years to come. It also has most of
the gadgets we have come to expect from todays treadmills.
What
We Dislike : Our only real complaints are
that this Treadmill doesn't fold and It is expensive for a
Nordic Track.
