Eliminates side to side motion that is harmful to joints, knees and ankles. Whisper Weave Belt - Non slip, long lasting. Designed for low friction, long life and very low noise level. Deck - 1" thick, phenolic laminate. Same thickness used in commercial treadmills. Phenolic helps keep deck and belt lubricated, extending life. Large Console - Control panel display indicates time, interval time, speed, distance, calories, incline, pulse, and program. Like the model above, the Smooth 9.2 is available either with or without heart rate control. The Smooth 9.2 is a serious machine for serious runners, it has a huge 3.0 HP motor, 14 preset programs and a good sized belt. With this model we are now in the $2000 price range and there isn’t another Treadmill we can think of that offers so much in terms of build quality and durability.
This is also one Smooth’s configurable Treadmills. You can customize it with an aeropedic belt, stretch frame (20 x 62" running surface), motor options, side rails with integrated speed/incline toggle switches, and Heart Rate Control.

The top speed of 10mph while adequate for most people is a little low for a 3.0 HP motor. Its very important to remember that the bigger a motor is, the longer it will last.

Our Recommendation :

The 9.2P is getting a bit long in the tooth and we suppose that is why the new 7.1 and 9.15 are here ready to move this one out of the way. It still is a great unit.
