Fungal Foray to Baronscourt, NI.

Bright and sunny.

Another new Amanita for the site: Amanita fulva.

And just a couple of metres away: Mutinus caninus - the Dog Stinkhorn.

Continuing with new species, Lactarius quietus, under Oak.

And Russula nigricans, which has solved an outstanding id from my local woods at Steeple.

This Volviarella speciosa has a volva like the Amanitas.

Now we enter the 'domain of uncertainty'. I was given Tricholoma album for this one, but I think that might be revised.

This Xerocomus chrysenteron is known as the Red Cracking Bolete.

The item of interest in this picture of Boletus erythropus is the golfball-sized lump on the stipe. Maybe Apiocrea chrysosperma.

More from Baronscourt tomorrow.
