Due to the early death
of her mother, Christina and her family were split
apart on the streets of Dublin.Her
father was an alcoholic and so the children were seperated
and sent to different orphanages.Christina
was a street child herself and had a harder life than
we can imagine.

20 years ago
she had a dream. The dream was for her to go and work
with the street people of Vietnam in September 1989.
She was a middle-aged woman with no education and no
money. She had never been to Asia. |
| Despite everything, Christina
put her dream into action. She has now set up homes
for the Vietnam street people and they are well looked
after. |
