        ZURBRICK FAMILY HAS REUNION

        "The 5th reunion of the Jacob ZURBRICK family was held on
July 10 [1938] at the family homestead on Pleasant View Drive.
Approximately seventy-two members were present and the following six guests:
Quintin REGER, Geralda MONIN  [MONNIN; later married Elmer ZURBRICK,
grandson of Jacob], Betty CABLE, Bob SMITH, Andy KICAK, Jacob STUTTER.
The following officers were elected:
President:  Elmer SIMME
Vice-President:  Carl BONLEN [spelling not clear], Martin ZURBRICK [grandson
of Jacob], Ruth CARLSON, Charlton CARLSON, Florence JERGE, Maude BABCOCK,
Glenn SCHOENTHALER and Florence GREEN.

The families of Louella [ZURBRICK] SIMME [dau of Jacob], Mr. Frank
ZURBRICK [son of Jacob] and Mrs. Bertha HELWIG [dau of Jacob] and
Mrs. Paul SCHOENTHALER had their supper served from two tables erected
up on the orchard.  Coffee and ice cream were also served to them - funds for
same being taken from the treasury."
