There will be no classes on November 20th 2001, because the teachers will be attending an inservice day.

We all got off early from school to watch Ireland qualify for the World Cup Finals. Even though Ireland lost 1-0, they still qualify! And we got to miss loads of class!!!

All 3rd, 4th and 5th special classes went to the Civic Theatre in Tallaght to see three Oscar Wilde plays - The Star Child, The Selfish Giant and The Happy Prince. It was a great day and 3rd class even got treated to a gourmet meal in McDonalds!

There are no classes for 3rd class on October 1st 2001, because their teachers are on an inservice day for the religion curriculum. Alive-O 5 is the 3rd class religion book.

A group of 8 Norwegians found our main web-site http://www.iol.ie/~scheart and were so impressed by our school that they had to come and see us. The third class put on a very impressive concert where they sung songs like 'The fields of Athenry' and 'Make new Friends'. The Norwegians were shown around the school and were given a lovely lunch prepared by Mrs. Francis. Posters of flags, Viking helmets and moments from the exciting Ireland - Norway football match (didn't it end goaless?) were made by third class students.
