Classes are designed for adults who may have undertaken Literacy Tuition, and/or who may wish to progress further in the English language. Adults may enter for the Junior Certificate Foundation English or equivalent.

The aim of this course is to learn clear and correct English at all times in both oral and
written communication.
Suitable for those who are not fully confident of Their use of English and whose
jobs involve the giving or receiving of precise instructions ,when errors of
interpretation can be expensive, dangerous and misleading.
Communication and public speaking
This course is designed for those who would like to improve their ability to get their
ideas across more effectively - both on a one - to- one basis and at interviews,
meetings, group discussions or social occasions in conversations with
friends.
Techniques include...1 how to handle nervousness,
2 prepare and present effective talks,
3 impromptu speeches,
4 individual evaluation.

fiction writing as applied to the short story, novel, play, and other creative
