Situated on the West coast of Ireland overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is the seaside village of Kilkee, Co. Clare. Here you will find a beautiful blue flag horseshoe beach, with over one and a half miles of golden sand which gently runs seawards. Swimming here is very safe. There are also numerous natural rock pools where swimming is possible when the tide is out and cliff swimming with diving boards when the tide is in. In Kilkee there are many beautiful scenic walks, golf, fishing, beach racketball, water sports and horse riding. There is also a childrens Waterworld with slides and a lazy river, with a seperate pool for toddlers and babies.

There are a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs in the village, where one can find 'craic' in the Irish tradition!

Kilkee is also close to the famous Greg Norman designed golf course at Doonbeg. There are other links courses just a short drive away such as Ballybunnion and Lahinch.

Kilkee is about 45 minutes drive from Shannon Airport. Ryan Air the low fares airline flies in to Shannon from all European countries. Aer Lingus also has regular flights. Kilkee is approximately 1 hours drive from Limerick, 2 hours from Galway and 4 hours from Dublin.
