My work quietly documents the human condition through the use of simple generic forms and shapes and common materials. Often,the paint envelops all viewable surfaces and has varying types of finishes (eg.matte to absorb light and shiny to reflect etc.). The pieces are hung flat to the wall so the paint surface touches the wall surface. Zooming in, freezing, observing repetition, noting minor change. These pieces strive to provoke an emotive response within the viewer and ultimately to prove uplifting.
