How
to Cite from INSIGHT
Persons intending to cite
material from INSIGHT may do so without reference
to the author or INSIGHT staff, except where the
author has explicitly stated otherwise. However, as
a matter of courtesy, all our authors would
appreciate being informed of citations of their
work.
You can cite an article
from INSIGHT as follows:
Karl, Raimund. "Medieval
Irish Chariots - 1300 Years in the Making", INSIGHT
Magazine, July 2002.
The author's name and
sometimes email address, as requested, are located
at the foot of each article. You are also referred
to the citation guide at: http://www.fordham.edu/halsall/cite.html
Our Policy on
Contributions
INSIGHT
is happy to consider any article or correspondence
on topics directly related to Irish heritage (both
human and natural), culture, and society. Whilst
copyright on individual article content remains
with the author, the magazine itself is ©
IRQUAS.
Our
objective is to provide material of interest to a
wide range of people, from professionals to
interested enthusiasts, and we will consider any
relevant material regardless of which end of the
'scale' it is aimed at.
Inquiries,
correspondence, news and articles should be emailed
to the appropriate persons named above. All article
submissions will be reviewed for suitability in the
first instance and passed to appropriately
qualified members of our review panel for comment,
if the article is considered of
interest.
Prospective
authors should be prepared to receive criticism of
their work and advice, where appropriate, on style,
structure and content. If you are new to formal
publication procedures, we will attempt to provide
asistance where feasible. It is our aim to ensure
that the best ideas get published.
We
reserve the right to refuse publication of any work
and to withdraw any published article from the
public domain at our discretion. In either event,
we will ensure that the author is advised of the
reasons. Though we will try to be gentle, no
liability is accepted for injury to
egos.
