A TRIP OF A LIFETIME

San Franciso is one of America's most beautiful cities. The best ways to see it from skydeck is located on 41st floor of Embarcadero Center. From this lofly position you enjoy a sweeping view of the entire bay area, and on a sunny day you can see miles over the downtown Financial District, the smart homes of Nob Hill and Russian Hill, and out to the Golden Gate Bridge and another way to see San Francisco is with Otis Spunkmeyer Air they give a spectacular view from a restored aircraft.

One of my favourite parts in San Francisco was the cable cars. My sister and I used to get the bus from the Airport because we were staying near there. We then get the bus in to the city to the market square. Where we queue for the tickets and then joined the queue for the cable cars. We watched them go along the track and the men used to turn them around. The people used to run on to them. Some people might get a sit and rest would hang on for their life. It would take up hill to the various streets down as far Fisherman's Wharf. The day we went to Fisherman's Wharf there was art festival on. There were bands playing in every street. The shops were full of postcards and ornaments for presents. You could also buy a boat ticket out in the Island to Alcatra but is wise to book in advance. We made our way towards to the cable cars stop. We went shopping in Chinatown, it was a picture of a long narrow street with shops, and fruits and fishes stalls the people were very busy buying and selling. San Francisco has large population of Chinese people. You go through North Beach on to Nob Hill to get to Chinatown. But it was unusual experience. It was getting late and we decided to back to the hotel.

The next day we decided to go on a walking tour to the Golden Gate Bridge. Where we made our way to way to special bus stop and got a bus to area. As you walk a long the bridge is made with tones of iron and down to the years it is painted red. You could see the Island of Alcatra and San Franciso bay. It was very cold and sun was gone down and the red sky light over the bridge. But the view was wonderful and exciting, it took us a hour to walk the bridge and back. The traffic was very fast on the motor way, as we walk on the bridge.

We wait for the bus to the Market Square, There we meet a pilot, and he told us that our next tour should be the Coit Tower. That is was just around the square and that you could see the different streets and out on to the San Francisco Bay. We went to the hotel, and plan our next day we made a phone call home. We turn on the TV the news had broken about the death of JK Kennedy Junior and his wife in the plane crashed.

The next day we went to Coit Tower we made our way up the steps an up the hill on ground floor there was leaflets and tour operators, we paid three dollors and got the lift up the top floor. When you up there you could see the different street and out on to the bay area. It was a good way seeing San Francisco.

Our next visit was the Spectacular Yosemite National Park 194 miles from the cities, and so we got a bus at the Airport and guided tour showed us the different of park. We took photos and admired the

beautiful park. The evening we went shopping in market square there was stores like Macy, Dknny, Levis stores. We brought some clothes and presents for our nieces and T- Shirt and toys for our sister young childern. They were delighted with them.

Before we made our trip home, we went to visit our mother's uncle's resting place in San Francisco It was a town called Coma. We got to the bus the town and walked to through the town to the Monastery, there we placed some flowers and said some prayers. There were lots of Irish Priests burned there.

We also came a cross an Irish pub on the way to the Monastery. We then made our way back to San Francisco.

That night we packed our cases and went for a drink near the hotel. The next day we boarded the plane home. We had 8 hours flight to get home. By the time we arrived in Shannon, we were jetlagged.
