C-10 GT-R
The C10 was the first Skyline to held the GT-R badge and was a car worthy of it too. It was also the first Nissan ever to have a 5 speed DOHC (Double Over Head Cams) 16 valve engine which has become popular in all mass produced Nissans from Micras to Primeras since the mid-90's.

That where the similarity ends with the 2 litre 6 cylinder straight six producing 160 bhp making this Nissan almost unbeatable within Japanese touring racing of the late 60's and early 70's. The car was nicknamed "Hakosuka" due to the success of the car within touring racing, beating Porsches and Alfas with ease.
