The Attridge Academy Of Irish Dancing provides an unforgettable forty-minute performance, which is a must for all occasions, conferences, weddings, corporate functions etc.

Dressed in authentic traditional and modern hand embroidered costumes, the group perform a medley of reels, jigs, hornpipes and old country sets.

During every performance, a short detailed explanation of each dance is given to the audience.

The group are famous for their originally choreographed 'The Hurling Boys', which is one of the dances most appreciated by our audiences, and pays tribute to our National game of Hurling.

The Attridge Group is one of the most succesful of its kind. They have been invited to perform at many major cultural events in Ireland and abroad. Over the years the Attridge Group has represented Ireland at all the premier dance festivals in countries such as Holland, Italy, Turkey, Austria, France, Israel, Portugal and the USA.

Live music is also performed throughout the cabaret show by an experienced and qualified musician, to accompany the dancers.

During the Summer months, the Attridge Group give performances onboard luxury liners visiting Cork Harbour, Cork University College Dance Lectures, hotels, Summer Schools and many other venues where visitors are being entertained. They have also appeared on television many times, both home and abroad.

Audience participation is very popular throughout an Attridge Group performance. While some people may prefer to sit and watch, the dancers create such a wonderful atmosphere that the majority of the audience are most anxious to "Take the floor".

They usually conclude their performance with specially choreographed dances, which pay tribute to the world-renowned dance shows.
