This link takes you to the My Vodafone page where you can set up web text for yourself. After you have set it up, you just go to the My Vodafone page and login with your username and password. Vodafone give 300 free text messages a month.

This link takes you to the O2 login page where you can set up web text for yourself. After you have set it up, this link take you to the same page where you can login with your username and password. O2 give 250 free text messages a month. They also give four texts for three for group texts, which means that you can send twenty text messages and only use fifteen from your monthly quota.

This link takes you to the Meteor page where you can set up web text for yourself. After you have set it up, you just go to the My Meteor page and login with your username and password. Meteor give 300 free text messages a month.

This link takes you to the 3 Ireland home page. 3 Ireland do not appear to be giving free web text, but check back regularly to see if that has changed. In any event 3 does not appear to provide 3G coverage in the Rathdrum area at the moment.

All the web text providers allow you to send time delayed text messages. This means that you can send texts while you are on holidays without touching a computer or turning on a phone.
