Community Centre, Ballinlough
During May as part of the junior Outdoor Award Badge, our part to help the environment and our community involved cleaning up the rubbish in the community centre grounds and weed out all the grass and weeds around the paths.

This was done in 2 parts - firstly on Saturday afternoon to start the weeding and it was completed on Monday night with the sweep of the whole grounds for rubbish.

Cork Corporation supplied the Keep Cork Clean signs, that we put up and the gloves.

On Saturday, we also had a BBQ outside as it was very sunny.  

On Monday night, Cllr. Donal Counihan - Deputy Lord Mayor of Cork visited us and gave us a hand.  he also thanked everybody for their hard work.

Then we had our picture taken.
