Part
of our bus tour on the first Monday of Camp took us to the National
Heritage park in Wexford town.
The park has reconstructed, Stone, Bronze & Iron Age dwellings and habitats including viking boats and houses and a monestry. we learned more about Irish history in the space of 2 hours than in our whole time at school. Of particular interest was the crainnóg whihc a blacksmith showing us how tools and other necesities were made. |
