6th-14th July 2001
National Heritage Park, Co. Wexford
Part of our bus tour on the first Monday of Camp took us to the National Heritage park in Wexford town.

The park has reconstructed, Stone, Bronze & Iron Age dwellings and habitats including viking boats and houses and a monestry.

we learned more about Irish history in the space of 2 hours than in our whole time at school. Of particular interest was the crainnóg whihc a blacksmith showing us how tools and other necesities were made.
