Macaoimh
Prayer
| Dearest
Jesus,
| Help me to
keep my promise,
| To do what is
right,
| And to help
other people.
| |
Macaoimh
Promise
| With God's
help,
| I promise to
do my best,
| To love God,
| To help other
people,
| And to live
the Macaoimh law. |
Macaoimh
Law
| A Macaoimh
always does his best,
| Thinks of
other before himself
| And does a
good deed everyday.

Investiture
| Every Macaoimh or Cub
Scout that joins up to any troop must be invested. An
investiture is being accepted into the macoimh cath as a full
member.
| To be invested you know
somethings about the macaoimh and scouts in general, such as the
sign, our motto, a brief history of scouting. All these requirements
are available in the Resources section of our website.
| Once you have completed
the investiture badge requirments you can be invested. This is
normally done once a year and you must stand in front of the macoimh
cath, hold our flag and say the Macaoimh Promise.
| This is your promise to
say that while you are in the macoimh you will do these things.
| There is also a special
Investiture Badge that you get once you have completed the
requirements. After this you move straight onto the Bronze
Arrow.
