Kerry handball players won two All Ireland titles today in Kingscourt Co. Cavan. Sandy McSwiney (Ballymacelligott) defeated Nicola Kelly of Roscommon 15/0; 15/0 in the ladies U14 Final.
Maria Daly (Ballymacelligott) defeated Edel Quinn of Leitrim in the ladies U15 Final

Congratulations to the Ballymacelligott girls U13 team who won the Gold at Community Games finals last weekend. It is the third year running that the Club girls' representatives at U13 have won this competition. This U13 team was captained by Caitríona Casey and also included Naomi O Sullivan, Maedbh Prendiville, Sharon Twomey, and Ashley Prendiville. The girls defeated Monaghan in the semi finals and went on to beat Roscommon in the final. Colin McSwiney was the captain of the boys U13 team. The rest of the team were Brendan Crowe, David Keane, Liam Thompson, Shane Dowling and Cian Counihan. Wexford beat this team in the play-off for third place Denis Buckley captained the boys U15 team and they won bronze when they beat Mayo. The rest of the team are Gene Griffin, Shane Twomey, Tim Prendiville and Padraig McCarthy.
