|
Paris February 11th -14th 1999 February 1999 witnessed the school embark on it's first school trip abroad in nearly fifteen years. (This long gap had much to do with the bad economic climate in the area during that period). Forty eight students, and six teachers, travelled to Paris. For many this was their first time to fly. This added to the great excitement and adventure of the whole trip. As well as visiting the Louvre, Versailles, going up the Eiffel Tower, and experiencing Notre Dame and Sacre Cour, they had memorable trips to The Stade De France, Euro Disney and Aquaboulevard. All agreed that the trip was successful beyond expectation and something that should be repeated!!. Breaking news! The next trip to Paris is planned for 7th November 2001. The cost is expected to be in the region of £345. Twenty eight pupils and six teachers will be flying out by Ryanair and will return on the the 10th November.
