The King! Paulas first ever Boxer, Oscar introduced his owner to the wonderful world of dog
showing. Although Oscar was not blessed with the white markings that are desired in the Irish show
ring, he had showmanship and presence and managed to win may classes, causing the occasional upset!
He loved the show ring and never failed to give his best, always willing to perform ( provided there
was liver available at the end! ). He was a dream to live with and is sorely missed by us all,
particularly by our young son Ciaran whom he shadowed and protected from the moment he was born.
There will never be another Oscar.

Robbie was Benton Boxers first champion and a pleasure to show. His Super temperament made him a
dream to live with. He never failed to give his best in the show ring and was a champion at only 20
months old and had several working group placements and wins. Even as a veteran, Robbie maintained
his good looks and love of showing. He returned to the show ring for one show as a veteran and won
the Reserve Green Star, beaten for the Green Star by his son Nelson who went on to win Best in Show
at the Munster Boxer Club Championship show.
Although not used extensively at stud, Robbie sired two Irish Champions and a UK Champion, CH
Tirkane Lone Ranger. Robbies legacy remains at Benton Boxers through his son Nelson, grandson
Barney, daughter Carrie and great granddaughter Tango. He was our pride and joy and is sadly
missed.

We would dearly like to thank Walker and Yvonne Millar for this beautiful girl with superb
construction and the sweetest temperament. Sophie was a Green Star and Reserve Green Star winner but
it was the whelping box where Sophie really shone. Sophie is behind all our recent Green Star
winners at Benton Boxers. She has produced a Champion Son Nelson and a Champion Granddaughter Rosie.
Sadly, Sophie died as a result of a tragic accident before she could enjoy her retirement to Athboy.
She still lives on in our memories and we see her beautiful temperament continue to come through in
the Boxers we breed.

Although reared with Boxers, Lady was Tonys first show girl and she gave him some great days in the
show ring winning the first Green Star for Benton Boxers. She had a temperament second to none and
never failed to give her best in the show ring. However, it was as a family pet that Lady made her
mark as she helped rear Tonys eldest children Paul and Susan who still talk about her to this day.
We are delighted that Lady is behind some of our big winners in the kennel, Ch Benton Rob Roy and
Ch Benton Celtic Fusion. Tony has such fond memories of Lady and considers it an honour and a
privilege to have shared her too short a life.
