This is a useful tool for people who keg all the time, it is used for putting beer in a bottle from a keg without exposing it to atmospheric pressure. It works by pressurizing the bottle with the same pressure as is in the keg and then allowing the beer to flow into the bottle without foaming. The procedure is as follows:
I know it sounds a bit complicated but when you have done a few bottles its child's play. This one has 2 valves one of which is a 3 position 2 output type, the same affect can be achieved with 3 normal valves. I used 3/16 inch(4.5mm)outside diameter, stainless steel pipe. Two holes were drilled in a piece of stainless steel and the pipes were put through and welded in position, then I put a rubber bung over the two pipes it was necessary to glue the bung in place(I used 2 pack epoxy resin) to prevent gas leaks. If I were making it again I think it could be made without welding the pipes in place, in which case it would be a lot easier to make.
