Troop Hike

Kilcully Sept'99

Our first and muckiest hike of the year took place in Kilcully. The day began with the usual game of Footy followed by an obstical course and tug-of-war. After the mornings activities we gratefully ate our lunch.

After lunch to everyones delight we moved down to Murphy's Rock and spent the rest of the day on our arses sliding down a hill with a load of muck on it (What a way to spend your Saturday). After the fun of the slide we made our way back very slowly to Killcully, where we got ourselves into cleaner clothes and got warmed up by the fire we lit in the campfire.

With the mucky cloths packed down at the bottom of our bags we departed Kilcully to return another day and continue the lagacy of the slippery slope.
