Local Golf Courses

The guesthouse is located within a 45 minute drive from 7 top quality golf courses. A brief description of the courses in the region are given below.

Ballybunion Golf Course

Ballybunion Golf Club
Ballybunion is one of the most famous links courses in the world. It is the most visited Irish golf course. The Old Course is a genuinely natural links course. The contours of both fairways and greens, combined with the sea breezes, provide the main challenge.
The Cashen course provides 18 spectacular holes each with its own character. A tough walk, caddies are advisable.

Old Course: Par 71 - 6,542 Yards
Cashem Course: Par 72 - 6,216 Yards
45 Minute Drive

Castlegregory Golf Club
The Castlegregory Golf Club is a 9-hole links course set in view of Tralee Bay and Brandon Bay. One of their most interesting holes is the short 9th, where a lake has been specially built in front of the green.

Par 34 - 2938 Yards - 10 Minute Drive

Dingle Golf Course

Dingle Golf Club (Ceann Sibeal)
Dingle is the most westerly golf course in Europe. The scenery is magnificent, with beautiful views of the entire Dingle peninsula, the Atlantic oceans and the Blasket Islands. The course itself is a traditional links layout featuring a winding stream that makes its way across the entire course.

Par 72 - 6,696 Yards - 30 Minute Drive

Dooks Golf Club
On the north section of the Ring of Kerry, Dooks is a stunning links course. Set in a stunning location, with mountains all around and the beautiful Dingle Bay stretching away towards the Atlantic.

Par 70 - 6,010 Yards - 45 Minute Drive

Killarney Golf Course

Killarney Golf Club
In a beautiful setting by the famous Lakes of Killarney, the town offers two world famous courses - Kileen and Mahony's Point. Kileen is the flagship course and hosted the Irish Open in 1991 and 1992. Mahony's Point is the older course and has perhaps the most famous par 3 18th in golf, almost 200 yards over the lake's edge.

Kileen: Par 72 - 7,121 Yards
Mahony's Point: Par 72 - 6,780 Yards
45 Minute Drive

Tralee Golf Club
Set beside Barrow Strand. There is a monster par 5 that doglegs around the beach and the dreaded 12th that is often rated the best hole on the course.

Par 71 - 6,890 Yards - 15 Minute Drive

Tralee Golf Course
Waterville Golf Course

Waterville Golf Club
Set on the beautiful Ring of Kerry. Waterville is a truly beautiful links course. The "Mass Hole" is where Irish Catholics celebrated Mass during penal times.
