About me

I was born in Dublin and taught to paint in oils by my father before studying privately with Deirdre O'Donnell. I majored in theatre design at the National College of Art and Design before travelling to The Canary Islands and then to Turkey to work. Living in bright sunshine changed my perception of colour, which can now be seen in my paintings. I returned to Dublin in 1993 and to date have had 9 solo exhibitions, work in private collections all over the world and a wealth of commissioned work for the likes of Ryan's Hotels, The Great Southern Hotel Group, Aer Rianta, Irish Distillers, President Mary Robinson, numerous bars, businesses, a record company and private collectors.
